When the tops of peaks appear flat, the data above the point has been lost. The Data Acquisition parameters needs to be set to a higher value. In Clarity/Envision software,  Under Method Properties>>Aquisition Tab, Adjust the range to a higher value 

At any time at least one detector has to be Enabled. If you aren’t able to edit tab parameters the current detector probably isn’t Enabled.
