Tomy Autoclave lid does not open

In order for the Tomy Autoclave to open, please ensure it is plugged in and turned on. Before you can open the lid, the LED lights need to be displayed.  This is a safety feature to prevent opening under pressure.  The lid will not open under heat and pressure.  Please check if there are any displayed errors which may be preventing the lid from opening.  Additionally, please place the casters on the included stoppers to elevate the autoclave, which ensures that the foot pedal is depressed properly.  Do not place anything else under the autoclave other than the included  caster stoppers.

If you are unable to open the lid after the sterilization cycle, please inspect the exhaust hose for any bends, kinks, or full  bellows extension. Normally, at the end of the run, air is taken from the hole in the middle of the exhaust hose as the chamber pressure equilibrates to atmospheric pressure.  However, if there are any bends in the exhaust hose, it will prevent air flow.
