Dead Volume: The injection cannula has 0.075 mm for its internal diameter. Even if it has 10 cm from the inlet, the internal volume is 0.044 µL (micro liter)

As you can neglect the dead volume of the injection cannulae, you can slowly introduce the drug after inserting the probe through a guide cannula. Typical flow rate is 0.1-0.5 µl/min.
